Education & Training
The philosophy of AMA has always been to offer independent advice and assistance on what may appear to be the complexity of irrigation systems including their planning, design and components. This is to allow a deeper understanding of the principles associated with system design and the accurate rates of application from sprinklers. We do not offer practical advice on the day to day servicing of sprinklers and components.
AMA participates regularly in both the lecture and workshop programs at the British Turf Management Exhibition (BTME) and contributes to articles in turf management magazines. We have delivered training courses to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) in the UK and overseas as well as the regions of BIGGA (British & International Golf Greenkeepers Association) within the UK.
Our education and training courses have included areas such as;
- Irrigation system auditing
- The principals of irrigation system design and components
- Basic Irrigation system design
Further details are available upon request by contacting AMA.
We have written and published many articles for the Greenkeeping Press which may be available on request.
